I aim to increase awareness of Dyslexia and how it affects individuals throughout different life-stages – from school, to college or university and into the workplace. I advocate for individuals with specific learning difficulties, showing what teachers, employers and practitioners can do to help individuals overcome barriers to learning or success.
I use evidence-based assessments to establish an individual’s current ability and attainment, and work with them to find appropriate strategies which work for the individual and their specific learning difficulty.
I also work with GoLexia to provide diagnostic assessments which can help with applications for Disabled Student’s Allowance (DSA), evidence for exam access arrangements at school/college/university or for professional qualifications and recommendations for reasonable adjustments in the workplace to ensure employees are not disadvantaged and have the right support to achieve their full potential.
